Subscriptions cover the general running costs of the Music Centre - teaching resources, instrument upkeep and the boring stuff like printing, insurance and financial reports. Teachers' wages are paid by the Ministry of Education.

This is a new class launching in 2025 for children aged 7-8. Lessons include beginner music concepts on the keyboard, rhythm, theory and music appreciation in a group classroom setting. After two years, students will be well equipped to move onto another instrument at BMC.
Please check with your current teacher before doing this. Learning a second instrument may seem like a good idea, but it does mean at least an extra hour of practice per week, and you may be better off joining one of our bands or an orchestra to build on your current skills.
Hire instruments available for Feb-Dec. Instruments can be collected at the first lesson, and returned at the end of year concert.
Sorry, guitars, keyboards and drums are not available to hire. Please speak to your teacher about where to buy a decent instrument.
